Oy!
Very exciting. 🙂
Pretty cool, huh? Which is your favorite play, Cyn? I’m torn between Hamlet and King Lear. Probably Hamlet though, especially when you throw in Branagh’s screen version. I am STILL waiting for that one to be released on DVD. I read a great thesis that talked about how the screen interpretations of Hamlet have changed over time, reflecting the values/concerns of society at the time the movie was made.
PS I finished the MD chapter! Whoo-hoo! Now I have to do some pre-reading for TTLH, which I won’t begin to write about until Monday. I am stoked!
It is good to hear that you are doing well on the thesis.
As for Shakespeare’s plays, my favorite is Hamlet, second is King Lear and third is the (gosh –pophoros… oh well)can’t remember the title. A pred moment here folks. Of course, it might be because I have not read the plays in over three years. LOL

And appetite, a universal wolf,
So doubly seconded with will and power,
Must make perforce a universal prey
And last eat himself up.” (Troilus and Cressida)
Williamsburg is hosting the annual Shakespeare Fest.
Oh too cool, Patricia! Are you planning to attend? Tis my understanding there’s a Shakespeare fest of sorts in Alabama too. Don’t remember where, though.
“Oh for a Muse of Fire
That would ascend the brightest heaven of invention,
A kingdom for a stage,
Princes to act,
And monarchs to behold the swelling scene!”
