I'm working on a post, but in the mean time here's a pic of me sitting in the Kiluaea Caldera on the Big Island. There was steam coming from vents all around me and it smelled like sulfur. Too cool. 🙂
Glad you had fun… I enjoyed the picture and showed it to Otto. He said, “it must be all that romance you’re writing.”… reason you look so good. LOL

Hey, Cyn! Glad you liked the picture. We have TONS of pics. Mike got a new camera about 2 months ago and this was the big test. The pics turned out really good. 🙂

Welcome back, Lynn! Can’t wait to hear all about it! Nice pic – reminds me of the South Dakota badlands.

It looks otherworldy, doesn’t it? The bus driver told us that NASA brought the astronauts here to train them for the moon landing because the Kiluaea Caldera (and Haleakala on Maui) was like the lunar landscape. 🙂
I’ll post other pics, and detailed island reports, throughout the week!
