Winners: Thank you all so much for participating in my contest! I really enjoyed hearing what you've been reading. Sorry I was unable to comment individually, but I got very busy this week and ended up out of the house a bit. Without further ado, here are my winners, chosen by using the Random Number Generator – Aniya, Eli Yanti, Sara, Michela, and Melanie J. Thanks so much to everyone for participating. For the winners, please send me your mailing address at Lynn AT LynnRayeHarris DOT com and I'll get your prize packs to you soon. ๐
This is an impromptu contest for you, my loyal readers! This weekend, Mr. Harris helped me start the process of clearing out my office for my new furniture. (Cherry bookcases and new desk! So happy!) To say I have a *lot* of books and promo sitting around is like saying there were a few boats on the River Thames for the Queen's Jubilee this weekend. ๐ So here's what I'm going to do:
I'm going to give away FIVE prize packs! Books (mine), various promo goodies I've collected from RWA, RT, and reader luncheons, and whatever else I can think of. All you have to do is leave me a comment and tell me what book you're reading right now (because I love hearing about books!). I will choose winners on Friday. But here is the catch. You MUST come back and check to see if you've won. I won't go looking for you. I just have too many things to do and no time to look for you. You must check back and you must send me an email with your details within 7 days. If you don't, I will re-award the prize to someone else.
Also, for the record, I do NOT collect your email addresses for my newsletter when you enter a blog contest. To sign up for my newsletter (which is quite infrequent, but which sometimes contains goodies not seen here on the site), you can do so here.
Edited to add: Friends, someone asked me if this is open internationally. The answer is YES. I will send goodies worldwide, though I retain the right to limit the amount of goodies due to postage when the location is international. Keep commenting! Love hearing about what you're reading!
Lynn Raye,
I am currently reading “Sweet Spot” by Kate Angell. Thank you for this opportunity and thank Mr. Harris too.
Ginger aka robertsonreads
@Ginger Robertson: Sounds good, Ginger! Mr. Harris is a good guy. He also encouraged me to buy that new office furniture when I was waffling about it. ๐
Ooh, books! I love books!
Right now I’m reading ‘Snowfall at Willow Lake’ by Susan Wiggs.
@Marcy: I love Susan Wiggs!
Lynn, sounds exciting getting to redo your office. Enjoy! I’m still waiting to get my office. *G* Thank goodness for laptops. As for what I’m reading, just started Shirley Jump’s “The Princess Test.” Am enjoying it immensely.
@Jennifer Faye: Shirley is awesome! I work on a laptop too sometimes — even in bed! But I am lucky to have my office, and can’t wait to pretty it up. ๐
I am currently reading lacy by Diana palmer. What a
beautiful and emotional book. Thank god for Mr harris,
Fingers crossed.
@Aniya: Sounds good! ๐
Wow Lynn what a amazing contest you have come up with for us indeed ,your the best ! I am currently reading The Replacement wife by Caitlin Crews and it is simply stunning if you have not yet read it you simply must add it to your list.
Thank you very much for the really unbelievable wonderful contest it would be a honor to win all the amazing sounding books and promo.
Good luck to us all,
Desere
@Desere Steenberg: I have read that, Desere! It’s a great book!
One person’s … uh … excess … is another person’s treasure, that’s for sure around here! Thanks so much for being so thoughtful and generous – and a special thanks to your husband helping you out. I bet MY husband would love to “help me” get my books out of MY office, but I dare not ask, LOL! They are MY treasures….
I just finished Kathy Lyons’ NIGHT AFTER NIGHT and haven’t started a new book yet. Maybe tonight? I thought Kathy “nailed it” in her depiction of military personnel, loved the H/h connections in every way (physically and mentally), and in general just loved it, loved it, loved it. Highly recommend it for your reading pleasure (although I would have suggested to the publishers a different title for the book: DREAM ON! re their erotic dreams with each other, hubba hubba)!!!
Do enjoy your new bookcases and desk. I’m envious (but inspired – maybe I can “fix things up” around here too, minus the new furniture)!
@Laney4: LOL, Laney! Yep, he’d prefer I get rid of a lot more books. I have SO many. But they are my treasures too! Will look for the Kathy Lyons book. Also, good luck fixing up your space! One of my favorite programs on HGTV used to be that one where the designer went in and totally redid the room using whatever the person already had. I am a big believer in using what you have! But it was time for a new suite, so I’m thrilled. ๐
Lynn, thank you for this wonderful contest & thank you for including your international readers. I’m currently reading “Wild Fling or a Wedding Ring?” by Mira Lyn Kelly. I just started it, but so far it’s very good.
Hi Lynn,
Thanks for the giveaway. I just finished reading Aimee Carson’s DARE SHE KISS & TELL- it was good.
I’ve downloaded Fifty Shades of Grey sample- not to my taste! The voice and writing is not to my taste- maybe I read too many M&B series?
Hi, Lynn! Hooray for new office furniture and a little “spring cleaning”. It always feels great to do some purging and get a little better organized. It sounds like your loss is our gain *grin*
I am currently reading Bet Me by Jennifer Cruisie. I have heard such great things about her books, and it is definitely an entertaining read so far. Thanks for the fun contest!
i’m currently reading 3 books : anna randol (HR), amalie howard (YA) and fayth devlin (PNR) ๐
I am reading Jennifer Ashley’s Penelope & Prince Charming. Have s great week and I’ll check back Friday. I’m also signing up for your news letter.
I’m just finishing up Nalini Singh’s Angels’ Flight and loving it!
Hi Lynne , lately i have been absorbed by paranormal thriller book by amanda stevens. Ger graveyard queen series is just soooo addictive . I can’t stop myself not to read it until it’s finish.
Lynn – Wow! what an awesome giveaway.
I’m currently reading ‘One night in Paradise’ by Maisey Yates
Thanks to you and Mr. Harris ๐
Hi Lynn, I am reading an ebook of a novel called Ring of Fire by Heather Huffman. I am also reading a spiritual (Christian) print book called ‘Destined to Reign’ by Joseph Prince. I am also reading an M&B Medical called ‘Georgie’s Big Greek Wedding’ by Emily Forbes. I am always reading at least three at a time and I have just purchased an omnibus of romance novels (3 in 1) by Lynn Graham. When I finish the Emily Forbes I’m planning to start ‘Undone By His Touch’ by Annie West. I am quite a passionate reader.
I am currently “reading” City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare. I say “reading” because I can’t bare to finish City of Lost Souls! I waited so long for this book- I started reading in January because I received the first two prologue books for Christmas. I’m also reading “Divergent” because a friend recommended it. Almost done, but…. I also have “Undone by His Touch” waiting in the wings- I’m a huge Annie West fan! I don’t know when her next book is coming out, so I’ll read that one slowly.
Thanks for hosting this giveaway, Lynn! I’m currently (and very unenthusiastically) reading my bar exam prep material (which is holding my attention well, as evidenced by my blog visiting), while sadly eyeing my TBR pile of delicious romance novels. *sigh* The last book I read was Tracey Garvis-Graves’ On the Island, and I was really surprised by how much I liked it! I heard some great things about it so I had to try it out, and I’m glad I did.
Enjoy your new cherry bookcases and desk! =)
Oh gosh. What am I reading now? The Santina Crown set. I’m up to Caitlyn Crews book. I’m halfway through a vintage Susan Barrie called The Wings of Morning. I’ve just bought A Royal World Apart by Maisey Yates and Unnoticed and Untouched by some other author whose name escapes me at the moment (not a sycophant, really). I’ve also got a copy of 50 Shades sitting on my desk waiting for me to force myself. My TBR on Goodreads is officially over 250 books and that doesn’t count the stacks I have at home.
Hi Lynn!
What a beautiful idea!! ๐
I’m reading The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons…
A wonderful love story set against the backdrop of the 2nd World War between a Russian girl and an American soldier of Red Army (who hides his nationality!)
Highly recommended! There’s all the magic and power of love springing during hard times.
What an awesome contest! I love your books! All of them! I have soo many books on my TBR pile, but right now I am reading Colter’s Promise by Maya Banks.
