Once again, THE SPANISH MAGNATE'S REVENGE is going under the knife. My lovely editor has suggestions for me, which you know for a fact I'm going to try my darndest to incorporate. Of course I would have loved a phone call that said, “Perfect, wonderful, fabulous — here's a gazillion dollars!” Ha, it's called a delusion — I mean fantasy — for a reason. 🙂
No, there are things that need fixing. And I mean to fix them. So, I'll likely be scarce for the next few days. Between this, conference prep, and my silly cat who needs constant nursing and attention, I'm booked solid.
What's up with you?
What’s up? Obsessing over wardrobe, that’s what’s up? I never obsessed over clothes like this before. Not even for job interviews, meeting the DH’s boss and his wife for dinner or even my son’s wedding. I guess it’s just knowing I’ll be around a bunch of people who have also obsessed. We all want to look our obsessive best.
Good luck with your revisions and with Houdini-Cat.
Marilyn
You’ll do great, Lynn. Go for it!
LOL, PM! I’m clothes-obsessing too. And the fact we need extra clothes for the sight-seeing kind of throws me off. At least I get two free suitcases on my flight since I discovered I bought me ticket long enough ago that the new charges don’t apply! Yay!
Thanks for the luck. I’m starting to see the shape of it, which is good. 🙂
Thanks, SP! I think I can do it. It’s much easier to contemplate after a day or two of thinking. Add in the chat with my editor that we’ve scheduled, and I should be able to do this. 🙂
Ah, the life of a writer…awful and wonderful at the same time. I’m still sweating, wondering what will be the verdict on my revised full. At least you got a fast response. Good luck!
