What's left: the conclusion
I finished the chapter on Orlando!!!! That's all four books analyzed, the intro done, and nothing but the conclusion left. OMG! I finished Orlando a day early, in fact, so I hope to hammer out the conclusion tomorrow. If I do that, then I will be done with a complete draft of this darn thing. In which case, champagne may be in my future for tomorrow night. But, really, I'm giving myself until Monday because that's the last day of the month.
You will notice that the thesis bar is past 15,000 now. I think I'll end up with 18,000 words or so.
Congratulations! Are you going to let us read it when it’s done?

Once it’s accepted and I’ve got those three signatures on the approval page, you can read it until you get bored and have to stop. LOL!
I heard from my mentor just this morning on the first four chapters. I am breathing a sigh of relief, because he likes it, but I also have to go back into the intro and clarify Maureen Murdock’s Heroine’s Journey. If you haven’t read that book, btw, it should be a must read for all women!
So, now that I have to rework the first section a bit, I may not get the conclusion done today as I’d hoped. Doesn’t matter, though, because I haven’t gone off the rails so far as my mentor is concerned and that relieves me. I AM worried about the committee, however. No telling what they’ll want, especially the notoriously difficult philosopher guy. That worries me…..
